In a presentation to over 100 diplomats, policy-makers, and citizens in the nation's capital today, Helga Zepp-LaRouche, founder of the Schiller Institute, made an impassioned appeal for the United States to join in the process of building the World Land-Bridge, which is now underway under the leadership of China and other BRICS nations. The offer made by Chinese President Xi Jinping to the U.S. and Europe, to join in this process of development, is "a lifeboat for a bankrupt trans-Atlantic world," she said. For if the trans-Atlantic world stays on its present course, it is headed for confrontation with Russia and China--the path toward thermonuclear war.
During the course of her presentation, Mrs. LaRouche detailed the "blueprint" for development which has just been issued in the Special Report from Executive Intelligence Review, "The New Silk Road Becomes the World Land-Bridge." She then elaborated on the physical economy theory of Lyndon LaRouche, on which the entire perspective was based, going into detail on the scientific concept of mankind's unique role in increasing the energy-flux density of his economy, and hence his power over nature.
As Mrs. LaRouche spoke, the stark choice which she was describing was playing out on the global scale.
From London, NATO, and the Obama administration came new threats of confrontation with Russia and China, based on the determination of the trans-Atlantic financial oligarchy to try to save their bankrupt system by subduing all sovereign nation states--and the BRICS process itself.
In contrast, the BRICS process was advancing in Eurasia, as shown in the inauguration of the second North-South Corridor from Russia to Iran, the new contract for high-speed rail between China and Malaysia, and the progress toward breaking ground on the new Nicaraguan trans-oceanic canal, on schedule for December 22.
By species, and in principle, the United States belongs in the new world being created by the BRICS, as Lyndon LaRouche has emphasized. The principle of Alexander Hamilton, of the Constitutional nation-state, once reactivated in the soul of the nation, provides the basis for the United States joining with the BRICS, in the global process of development. The way the BRICS process has spread optimism throughout the large majority of mankind, is emblematic of exactly what can happen in the U.S., and Europe, once the right decision is made.
